We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of PMO to join our dynamic team.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe Agile certification.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute the Thingtrax implementation projects for our clients. Manage project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- As the first Project Manager hired into the Services team, you will be instrumental in defining what ‘high performance’ looks like at Thingtrax and integral in setting the standard.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements, objectives, and challenges. Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Set clear expectations with the client from the start and throughout the project to drive toward successful completion.
- Leverage your deep knowledge of the manufacturing industry to tailor solutions to the unique needs of each client. Understand factory floor processes and best practices.
- Work to establish and refine project management processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices for project management.
- Oversee cross-functional project teams, including engineers and technicians on both hardware and software. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to drive project success.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. Implement quality control measures and monitor project progress.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may affect project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project budgets.
- Create a positive hand-over experience with the coaching and customer success team to ensure an ongoing positive Thingtrax experience for our clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or Project Management).
- Proven experience in project management, especially within the manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing MES or OEE solutions in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with a track record of successful Agile project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the UK.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
