Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing tech hub in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience and will support the creation of our Industrial Internet of Things solution.
A key requirement for this role is experience in automation of both UI and APIs to reduce regression test cycle times.
Key Responsibilities
- Test web and mobile platforms across client/server environments and multiple devices.
- Review SRS documents and process models.
- Participate in Specifications Review, Test Planning, Creation and Execution of Test Cases, Defect Reporting, and Defect Verification.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support delivery.
- Apply different testing types: Functional, Integration, System, Compatibility, Regression, Smoke/Sanity, and Ad-hoc Testing.
- Use bug reporting and tracking tools such as TFS/Jira.
- Write SQL queries and use query tools for validation and data testing.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 4-5 years of full system development lifecycle experience
- Experience in QA/Test strategy, defect lifecycle, and release management
- Industry experience testing Web and mobile-based applications
- Familiarity with automation tools:
- Postman (API testing)
- Selenium (UI testing)
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Development experience
- Familiarity with test automation
